The Stubai Glacier is Austria's largest glacier ski area; it is covered in snow from October to June. A total of 26 cableways and lifts transport visitors comfortably around the ski area with its 205 hectares of prepared slopes.

The Stubai glacier is known as the most child-friendly family ski resort and was also awarded the title of "the most family-friendly ski resort in the Alps" for the fourth time in a row in 2013 in the annual ranking of the ADAC SkiGuide.
